Bariatric Physician Assistant Holyoke, MA 10433-esa Holyoke Medical Center is a 200 bed community hospital in Western MA. The medical center has a rapidly growing Medical and Surgical Weight loss program with a combined panel of 500 patients since opening in March 2016. They are presently applying for MBSAQIP Accredited Center of Designation. The weight loss team consists of one board certified bariatric surgeon, a surgical physician assi The weight loss program is seeking a dynamic Physician Assistant to join their team and be involved in all aspects of patient care. The PA will work alongside their bariatric surgeon and current physician assistant to provide office consultations to Medical and Surgical Weight Loss patients, act as first assistant in bariatric surgery procedures, round on inpatients, and perform consultations in the Emergency Department as part of a shared call schedule. The candidate will be trained on nutrition counseling and weight management techniques.
